MEET
TINA MORLOCK

freelance editor, blogger, and novelist

I am a freelance blogger, book editor, and author living in the metro Oklahoma City area. My two daughters—Alexz and Katie—and my three pets—Bug, Charlie, and Flare—live here with me in Oklahoma where I work from my home office probably more hours than I care to count.

Back in 2016, I found myself in a peculiar situation—living in an emotionally abusive relationship with a growing drug addiction that was slowly wreaking havoc on my life, career, and relationships. Up until that point, I'd always dreamed of being an author, but I never believed in myself enough to pursue my dreams. So, they stayed on hold all while pursuing toxic relationships and habits.

Thankfully, I left both awful situations on my own that same year, and I knew I had to take a long look at the woman whom I'd left behind all those years ago. I made a promise to myself right then and there. The promise was that I would stop using drugs and start pursuing my dreams. Not long after that, I enrolled in an English Bachelor's program, I started reading every day, and I got involved with a publishing company that pushed me toward being the ambitious writer, blogger, and book editor I am today.

Yet there was still something missing. The combination of the PTSD from the abusive relationship and the drug abuse had both taken a toll on so many different parts of my life, so I started to write my story, little by little. I started writing Red Flag Conversations because I knew I wasn't the only one who fell that far into the darkness.

It's taken about four years to get my story out, but I finally got there. It will be published in September 2020 by Author Academy Elite on both paperback and eBook. I can't wait to share this story with you!
